The post-event tsunami survey data were collected by scientific volunteers for the 2011 Tohoku earthquake tsunami. The individual data were measured under the severe situation after the disaster and please pay attention to contribution to individual surveyors and survey teams to use.

1. The data is open for public but please site "The 2011 Tohoku Earthquake Tsunami Joint Survey Group" and web site address with release date at least. For example,

   Data from the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake Tsunami Joint Survey Group, release 20120330, http://www.coastal.jp/ttjt/

   The release date is important because we have been checked and modified the data set since May 2011, continuously.
2. Although we paid attention to quality check but the quality of data at individual point depends on the location and surveyors. Please check quality of each data before to use.
